Stereo Guitar Rocks!

Thank you so much to everyone that tuned into the live stream!!  I'm hoping to get my home rig set up and continue doing a live stream either monthly or every other month.  Now, after my first live stream went successfully last weekend I'm taking a weekend to chill out (especially since it's a 3 day weekend), but that doesn't mean music hasn't been happening...

Over the last 2 years I've been building a small studio rig along with a pedal board and guitar IR interfacing into my computer, and just this weekend I finally was able to spend the cash to take the big step into a STEREO GUITAR RIG!  I'm incredibly excited about it.  I've been waiting years to use several stereo guitar pedals that already sound great as it in mono, but now they've taken on a whole new character and are freshly inspiring!  I've been playing for about 3 hours a day straight...

What does this mean?  well to anyone who's not a guitar nerd, this means that I'll have exponentially more tonal possibilities, depth, and dimension for the sound of my electric guitars on my records, as well as add some extra flavor and fullness live (when I play with amps rather than acoustic).

This also means that I'm totally ready to complete the demos I've been working on over the past few months and start recording my next album!  I'm shooting for a full length with at least 10 songs and hope to at least complete recording by the end of the year.

The other big thing I've been meaning to work on over the past, well, several years really, is to create a business plan for my music.  There are so many different paths to take with a music career and tons of mediums to do it, so It's about time I put a long term plan into action based on what path is best for me and the person I am as well as the music I want to create.  There's always more to learn and time to put in, so my plan is to solidify this nebulous concept that has eluded me for years and turn it into a meaningful goal that I can consistently work towards with a focused pathway.

I feel like I've just sort of flailed around doing what I think is best for my music career, and haven't got a foothold to move forward.  My number 1 goal has been and will always be to create high quality music that I'm passionate about that I put every ounce of emotion and effort into to create the songs and sounds I envision.  So, I think having a business plan with help me take that passion to the next level, and that by defining my plan I'll actually know what that next level is for me.  Now, to not waste all of my time playing around with this stereo guitar rig...
